What is the Drama Festival?                                                                                              The U of T Drama Festival is a three/four-day drama festival that features only original student works. It is intended to provide a safe platform for the development of student talents, promotion of creativity and the recognition of excellence in theatrical performance and production. The Festival provides an opportunity for the dramatic societies/ clubs/ groups at the various colleges and campuses at U of T to meet on a level playing field inside the historic Hart House Theatre .

How does it work?                                                                                                                  Plays will be performed across the three nights of the festival. Each night the cast and crew will receive a private adjudication from our judge. On the final night of the Festival the judge will give out awards for various categories such as Best Production. Throughout the Festival the audience gets the chance to vote for their favourite production which will determine which show wins the Audience Choice award.
